Building Services - Team Leader (Building Compliance, Home Improvements & FM Services) – Grade L (£50,512 - £51,515)

Sefton MBC, Property & Building Services Department provides a range of services aimed at maintaining and improving corporate buildings and schools for the people and communities of Sefton.  We also provide Major adaptation services to Sefton residents with a view to them sustaining independence.  In order to meet future challenges across this diverse service area, we are looking to appoint a self-motivated, suitably qualified and experienced Building Services - Team leader to lead our Building Compliance, Home Improvement and FM Services.

We are seeking a proactive and competent Senior Manager who can direct and lead the respective teams in providing a full range of services.  A key aspect of this newly created post will be focussed on delivering centralised statutory building compliance services across the corporate property portfolio, whilst at the same time also ensuring existing services and work programmes are maintained.  We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who is technically strong and will take responsibility for delivery of these key services to optimise efficiency and effectiveness.  You must be able to plan and manage all activities associated with the respective service areas, including all associated work programme and budgets.

If you have the requisite background, skills, knowledge and experience to drive and shape how we deliver services, along with an ability to work collaboratively, influence outcomes and inform and inspire, we would like to hear from you.

You can apply by visiting our website or following this link https://ats-sefton.jobsgopublic.com/vacancies/list where you will find an application form, job descriptions and person specification which clearly identifies the role and key attributes required.

Sefton is a great place to live, work, visit and invest. Coupled with the salary we also offer some excellent additional terms relating to holidays, sick pay, agile and flexible working and Local Government pension scheme benefits.  There are also a wide range of other benefits on offer in support of health and wellbeing.  We provide many different services and offer a wide range of opportunities to job applicants from all backgrounds, ages, skills, and interests. We aim to have a diverse workforce that understands and represents the communities they serve.
