Customer Care Officer
Are you calm, empathic, a good listener, objective and resilient? Then this could be the job for you.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Care Officer to join the Policy, Performance and Customer Care Team.
The service is responsible for managing all complaints and compliments that come into Adult Social Care, as well as managing Freedom of Information requests and requests for service-user access to case records; along with requests from the police, department of works and pensions etc. for information. Part of a larger policy and performance service, this is a busy and statutory area of work which supports Adult Social Care to continually improve the service it provides.
The post will provide customer care support to the Adult Social Care department, coordinating compliments, complaints and information requests from people who use services, their families, carers and organisations outside of Halton Borough Council.
We would welcome applications from people who:
- Have experience of dealing with customers enquiries or complaints;
- Have attention to detail;
- Are organised;
- Able to meet deadlines;
- Can communicate effectively with people who use care services, their families and carers and senior managers, both verbally and in writing using a range of technology;
- Can remain calm under pressure;
For an informal discussion about this post, please contact Diane Lloyd, Practice Manager- Policy, Performance and Customer Care on 0151 511 6445.
Interviews will be held on w/c 29 April 2024
Please refer to the person specification when completing your application.
