Family First Support Worker - THRIVE
Family First is a family support service working with families who have multiple/complex needs. We are seeking two experienced and motivated Support Worker's who are committed and dedicated to working with families and making positive change's to children's lives.
The post holder's will work across the Early Help and Prevention service, supporting families who have multiple/complex needs. The post holder's will work in partnership with colleagues and other professionals to ensure there is a robust support package in place to meet the needs of the family.
There are two support worker posts available.
L3 Support Worker:
Within this role you will be; Providing practical, emotional support, advice and information to parents around a range of issues, Working directly with children and young people within the home and in the community covering a range of issues and offering support, Working multi-agency with other specialised services and monitoring impact and evidencing outcomes.

Domestic Abuse Support Worker:
Support will be provided around a range of issues including; The impact of domestic abuse on young people, Recovery work with parents and children/young people, Multi-agency work with other specialised services, Monitoring impact and evidencing outcomes, Facilitation of group work programmes and one to one direct work, Engage in identified training.

You will require:
Recent experience of working directly with families with multiple needs and children aged 0-18.
A minimum of NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Health and Social Care) or equivalent experience
