Park Worker

Do you have a passion for horticulture and working in Halton’s award winning open spaces?

Qualified to level 2 in a land based qualification, you will have experience of working in a land based industry and the knowledge to identify the range of common plant species found in British parks.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for following work schedules and will have the ability to read and interpret simple maps, plans and drawings.

With demonstrable working knowledge of horticultural and sports turf maintenance best practice, you will possess the skills to use a range of hand and mechanised tools, as well as ride on machines, tractors and other plant.

It is essential that you hold a Full UK Driving Licence, as well as a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
