Funding Assistant
Join Our Team as a Funding Assistant for Sefton@Work!
36 Hours per week
Fixed Term until 31st March 2025 (potential for contract extension)
Are you eager to start your career in finance while making a positive impact in your community? Employment & Learning are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Funding Assistant. In this role, you'll play a vital part in processing client funding applications, raising orders, processing invoices, and ensuring the smooth flow of financial transactions to support the Sefton@Work service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process client funding applications promptly and accurately, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and compliant.
- Raise orders with attention to detail, ensuring smooth procurement processes and timely delivery of essential resources.
- Manage invoice processing with precision, verifying details and ensuring adherence to financial procedures to maintain budget integrity.
- Collaborate closely with team members to maintain organised financial records and documentation, supporting grant claims to external funding bodies.
