CCTV Monitoring Operative
The Community Safety and Protection division would like to invite applications for the role of CCTV Operator. The post holder will be responsible for the monitoring of Halton’s network of CCTV cameras and ensuring the smooth running of the control room during their shift.
Applicants should have experience of working in a control room or security setting, monitoring CCTV for multiple sites. Be able to demonstrate good communication skills, an ability to react calmly and quickly in an emergency and an ability to work without supervision.
The CCTV service is a 24/7 function and the successful candidate will support the 24hr running of the service.
If successful, candidates will be required to undertake a DBS check and local police force vetting.

The vacancies are as follows:
1 position working 32 hours per week (£20,324 - £20,664 per annum) on a shift pattern covering 24 hours per day, 7 days a week over 365 days per annum under the supervision of the CCTV Supervisor.
2 positions working 24 hours per week (£15,243- £15,498 per annum) on a shift pattern covering 24 hours per day, 7 days a week over 365 days per annum under the supervision of the CCTV Supervisor.
