Events and Marketing Officer
Salt and Tar is an outdoor multi use event venue hosting monthly street food events, comedy events and music events for 300 – 3000 people. Headlining the venue this year include Tom Jones and Status Quo.
Located in Bootle on the canals side, Salt and Tar is the catalyst for the wider regeneration project for the town with plans to grow in to a 6000 capacity event site in the next 3 years. We are recruiting for an Events and Marketing Officer to join the team to manage the promotions and operational delivery of these events.
This is an exciting, fast paced role and we are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic candidate with experience in marketing and events management who is ready to hit the ground running and support taking the project to the next level.
Salt and Tar is part of Sefton Council’s Tourism department. A part of the role will also be to support the wider team on other major events led by the department such as Southport Food and Drink Festival, Southport Airshow and The British Firework Championship.
