Senior Approved Electrician
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right person to join the Sefton Arc Team.
We are looking to appoint an experienced senior approved electrician to lead, develop and support a team to deliver best practise in the delivery of Electrical services by ensuring performance, quality assurance and continuous improvement of services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Electrical team.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential elements for the post. This role will also involve supporting our other programmes and services in a holistic approach. You will be able to deal with confidential and sensitive information. We are looking for someone with good computer, organisational and interpersonal skills.
To support the business and service plan for Sefton ARC Security in accordance with all approved policies and performance criteria. Ensure electrical service areas meet current legislation, regulatory and professional standards and adhere to quality accreditations.
To champion a culture of co-operation and teamwork to deliver shared goals in support of corporate and divisional priorities. To encourage, coach, train and develop individuals and teams to enable them to maximise their capacity and facilitate effective delegation.

What will you be doing?
You will be managing a team that consists of:
• Electrical Service – Certification, electrical installations, testing and electrical maintenance of council buildings.
To manage the effective operation of Electrical services within the remit of the post holder, ensuring that individual service budgets and income targets are met, and services remain competitive within the wider marketplace. Develop strategies and procedures to achieve and maintain a customer focused service to maximise cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
