The Governors of Cambridge Nursery are looking to appoint a full-time, experienced and energetic Early Years Teacher to join our friendly, vibrant and enthusiastic team to work within the nursery with children aged 3-4.
Starting school is an important milestone in every child’s life and an Early Years Teacher plays a vital role in preparing children for their learning journey.
We are an inclusive setting that provides all children with the opportunity and encouragement to excel and achieve in a stimulating and safe environment. We have high expectations for all our children who are challenged through an inspiring curriculum.
We are happy to accept applications from ECT’s with a specialism in Early Years.
We require a team player who is passionate about children and able to inspire, nurture and motivate. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with the ability to bring a positive attitude to their teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to :
• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Have an excellent working knowledge , understanding and extensive experience of the EYFS curriculum
• Work in partnership with other part-time nursery teachers and have the ability to support a direct and diverse team
• Promote high standards of achievement and behaviour
• Contribute to the whole life of the school
• Be committed to their own learning as well as that of the children
