The role:

  • As a Family Support Worker you will provide intense, targeted family support to vulnerable disadvantaged children and young people and their families / carers, to prevent family breakdown
  • You will deliver a range of direct work programmes and outcome focused support within a community setting, supporting our Children’s Social Workers
  • You will attend children and young people’s reviews, planning meetings and child protection conferences, making positive contributions working with multi-agencies to improve outcomes and child centered focused
  • You will be responsible to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with practice standards
  • You will contribute to the creative and innovative planning and organisation of an appropriate range of resources working with other professionals
