Job Title:                Art Technician

Hours of Duty:       37 per week (Term Time Only including 5 Additional days) (39 weeks)

Details:

We require an experienced Art Technician to work under the direction of the Curriculum Leader to provide an efficient and comprehensive technical service to the art department and to monitor and oversee the updating and producing of displays in departments and across school.

 

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • As part of lesson preparation, maintain and organise the setting up of equipment, prepare materials as directed and prepare and provide technical support for exam classes.
  • To support students either in small groups or in a 1:1 setting in completion of their tasks and assignments.
  • Establish good working relationships with the students concerned, acting as a role model.
  • Maintain high quality displays around school and curriculum areas.
  • Provide general administrative support to the art department including maintenance of notice boards.
  • Be aware of and comply with school policies relating to child protection, health & safety, confidentiality and data protection
