ICES Manager

We are looking to recruit a Manager of Sefton’s Integrated Community Equipment Stores based at Aintree retail park.

This is an exciting opportunity to manage the Integrated Community Equipment Service (C.E.S.) which provides an effective, efficient equipment loan service to individuals of all ages, including children, assisting them to develop and to maintain their health and independence.  This service operates on a responsive, 24 hour/7 days a week basis. 

As manager of ICES, the successful candidate will be responsible for the for ensuring the smooth delivery of the day-to-day management of the service encompassing Social Care and Health provision, external stakeholders, and the voluntary sector, within agreed budgets and in accordance with the policies, procedures, and practices of the Council.

The individual will have responsibility for the key decision-making in relation to resource allocation, operational matters and adhering to the Performance Management framework within the Directorate. They will also work in collaboration to support commissioners in the strategic development of the Community Equipment Service.
