Kirkby Market is part of Kirkby Town Centre. The Market has 132 stalls which run six days a week, Monday to Saturday; full market days are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. The Market is open to customers from 09.00 to 16.30hrs each day. Staff cover from 07.00 to 17.00hrs.
Duties include cleaning the Market, litter picking throughout the day, checks on toilets, emptying bins and use of a waste compactor. Maintenance duties to include painting, fixing shelving, minor plumbing repairs, use of basic power tools, installation of signs etc.
Some maintenance and cleaning experience is required. The work pattern is 4 days of 6 (Mon-Sat) but likely to be Wed-Sat most regularly.
