Administration Officer - Schools Improvement

We are currently seeking an Administrator to join The School Improvement Team based at Sefton Professional Development Centre (PDC) in Formby.  No two days are the same and you will be working with a small, friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will work 17.5 hours per week, term time only.

Monday to Thursday 2pm – 5.30pm 

Friday 1pm to 4.30pm


The role:
As Administrator, your role will be to provide an efficient and effective administration service including reception and hospitality duties. It is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and has a 'can do' approach to work. The candidate must also be able to work independently, as part of a team and to be discreet when working with confidential and sensitive information.

Key duties covering two main areas include:

Administration
Provide an effective support service which incorporates all aspects of administration.
Processing and composing correspondence, record keeping, data input, housekeeping and following Health & Safety.
Liaising with staff, collating information, and coordinating with relevant parties. Attend meetings and take minutes. Set up and advertise training events.

Hospitality
First impressions count and you will ensure all staff and visitors are welcomed to site in a friendly and courteous manner.
Be responsible for the preparation of training rooms with refreshments for all events throughout the day.
