Are you a passionate and dedicated to making a real impact? An exciting opportunity is available to join our Assessment Teams as Assistant Team Manager.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Team Manager to join our dynamic Children’s Service Team here at Sefton Council.
As an Assistant Team Manager, you will carry a reduced caseload of cases whilst playing a vital role in supporting the Team Manager in the day-to-day management of a team of Social Workers and other professionals in the delivery of statutory and legislative duties and requirements. Ensuring the key performance targets as they apply to the team, the service and the Council are met.

We offer competitive salaries between £45,718 - £48,710 plus an annual market rate supplement of £2,000.

If you have;
- A Social Work Degree or equivalent Social Work Qualification and are registered with Social Work England
- Experience of managing social workers to deliver high quality services to children
- Experience of assessment of needs, case planning and/or complex case management
