At the Heart of Social Work in Children We Look After (CWLA)

The CWLA teams are responsible for the care planning, safety and successful outcomes for children who are in our care long term.

The CWLA Service benefits from an experienced, stable and committed management team, a supportive network of colleagues and an infrastructure than enables successful social work. We are committed to working as a close knit and integrated team to deliver the best outcomes for our children.

Our Children know what they want from those of us who have the privilege to work with them in CWLA, and we have all signed up to a promise to deliver the best we can alongside our children and their carers.

Following the promotion of two of our employees, we now have 2 Social Work positions available in CWLA. For both of these posts we welcome applications from both newly qualified or experienced social workers and will support your on your social work journey whatever stage you join us.

This is a great time to join the team as we continue to grow as a service, progressing well and offering fantastic opportunities to grow and develop. We work closely with all our partners and share mutual expectations of trust and reliability.

When you join us you will receive regular supervision, structured development and frequent opportunities to be involved in activities both internal and external to the Borough, including with our inspirational children’s group; Inner Vision, Outer Spark.
