Family Support Worker (Special Guardianship Order)

Knowsley Children’s Social Care is seeking to recruit an Experienced Family Support Worker to work in the Friends and family/ Special Guardianship team on a full time basis. The team supports friends and family placements and this specific role is to work with those who care for children under a special guardianship order. The role entails completing robust SGO assessments, direct work with children and families, supervising family time and working with key professionals to ensure that the needs of the children are being met.
