Senior Tenancy Relations Officer

The Housing Standards Team are responsible for overseeing housing conditions, landlord licencing and from 1st May 2026, when the Renters’ Rights Act, is introduced, tenancy enforcement matters.

Job requirements:

Working as part of the Housing Standards Team in this role you will take responsibility for leading our preparation for the new Renters’ Rights Act, and once operational from the 1st May 2026 to manage a small team to manage a caseload of tenancy enforcement work; investigating potential breaches of legislation relating to the act and taking enforcement action where necessary.

The role is an exciting opportunity to shape a new area of Sefton’s housing service, supporting tenants and delivering a range of new duties introduced by the act.

Closing Date - 8th March 2026
