The Fleet and Logistics management service provides a Fleet Procurement and maintenance service for the council. The service operates from the Council’s main operational depot at Stretton Way in Huyton.
The role involves the day-to-day service, inspection and maintenance of the vehicle and plant fleet.
Applicants must be a time served vehicle technician and have an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in automotive maintenance and repair.
The salary for the role includes’ s a 10% shift allowance, and a tool allowance and ranges from £37,243 to £39,045 per annum when working a standard 36 hour week.
Regular overtime is also available throughout the year
