Senior Service Development Officer
Our Team:
Do you want to be part of a dynamic team providing support to Adult Social Care Teams and Senior Management? Being a part of the Policy, Performance and Customer Care Team could be for you.
We are looking for an experienced individual to be the Council’s lead adviser for a range of Adult Social Care (ASC) performance and improvement areas, to advise council officers, members and partners on performance and strategy development and commissioning support in these areas.
The role will include the development, implementation and maintenance of procedures and policies relating to ASC performance management for the Council and its partnerships and the development and maintenance of the ASC performance management systems and submission of the Council’s ASC Annual Statutory Returns.

Your Contributions:
You should have knowledge and experience in Performance management and the ability to analyse complex data. Knowledge of Adult Social Care reporting systems e.g. CareFirst, Eclipse, etc is essential to this role.
Preparing and presenting reports to a variety of audinces is a key function of this role. You will need the ability to work to tight deadlines and priortise yours and others workload effectively. You will also be supervising staff within this role.
You will be self-motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to translate complex information into workable procedures, as well as being able to manage multiple projects and develop sound working relationships.
