Sefton Council are looking for an exceptional leader to take on the pivotal role of Delivery Director for the newly formed Cheshire and Merseyside Regional Care Cooperative (RCC).

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead a new regional model for children’s care, founded on working across nine local authorities and the Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board (ICB).

The successful candidate will bring partners together, build confidence and trust across a complex landscape, and lead improvement outcomes for children and young people across the Cheshire and Merseyside Region.

In the words of the children and young people, this collaboration will mean: “For us, good care means having stable, loving homes, supportive relationships, and opportunities to stay connected to our families, friends, schools and communities whenever it is safe to do so.”

The role offers the chance to make a real difference by bringing together Local Authorities and partners from across the region to create better homes, stronger support networks and improved opportunities for children and young people in care.
